Akhilesh gives laptops to exam toppers, says BJP not honouring youth

Former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today gave laptop computers to students of various boards who have topped the Class 10 and 12 examinations in the state and criticised the ruling BJP for not felicitating them yet. Yadav congratulated Kirti Singh, Arisha Pathak, Sonam Yadav, Balbir Yadav, Saumya Singh, Almas and Aditi for their academic performance at an event in the state capital Lucknow.

NGT slaps Rs 25,000 fine on Delhi govt for not filing report

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has slapped Rs 25,000 as costs on the Delhi government for failure to file a report on the action taken to prevent blockage of drains in the city. A bench headed by acting NGT Chairperson Justice Jawad Rahim directed the AAP government to file its response within 10 days and deposit the fine within a week.

Fin Min to set up strategic investment fund under NIIF
